How it works
Here's the full path of a TrustChain agreement — from the first private message to proof you can show in a dispute. The proof at the end of it doesn't rest on trusting us. It rests on math, and a public blockchain.
You negotiate privately
You work out the terms in a chat that's end-to-end encrypted. The keys live on your devices, not on our servers — so the conversation can be read only by you and the other party. Not even us.
You sign the agreement
Both parties sign. We store the agreement securely so the registry can run and generate its fingerprint — and we never sell it, share it, or use it for anything else.
A fingerprint is generated
From the exact contents of your agreement we generate a short, unique code. The same agreement always produces the same fingerprint — change a single character and the code comes out completely different.
It's anchored on the blockchain
Anchor a record and its fingerprint is written permanently to Polygon. From that moment no one can alter it — not the other party, and not us. Anyone can check it against the public chain.

When it matters

You present the agreement you both signed
The original text — your copy, exactly as it was when both sides agreed to it.
TrustChain checks its fingerprint against the blockchain
We take the fingerprint of the document you present and compare it to the one locked on-chain.
A match proves the document is untouched
If the fingerprints match, the agreement is exactly what was signed — nothing added, nothing removed.
A 'different' version gives itself away
If the other side brings an altered copy, its fingerprint won't match the one on-chain. That mismatch is proof it was changed.
You don't need anyone to take your word for it. The record decides.

Common questions
Can TrustChain read my agreement?
Your agreement is stored so the registry can run and generate its fingerprint, so yes — technically we can access it. What we don't do is sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. Your negotiation chat is the exception: it's end-to-end encrypted, so that conversation is readable only by you and the other party — never us.
Can someone turn a fingerprint back into my text?
No. The fingerprint is one-way. No amount of computing power can reconstruct your text from it.
What if I lose my copy of the agreement?
Your agreement is stored in your TrustChain account, so you can retrieve it there at any time. And the on-chain fingerprint is permanent regardless — even if every copy of the text were gone, the proof that it existed, unchanged, stays on the blockchain forever.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We don't sell data, run ads, or monetize anything private. TrustChain is a utility for proof.
