Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 31, 2026 · Last updated July 31, 2026

What changed in this revision

  • Identity verification is now REQUIRED before a signature is accepted, for both parties — it is no longer limited to elevated tiers or optional features (section 5).
  • The AI Advisor can now answer from the text of indexed legislation and cite it; today that is the BC Builders Lien Act only (sections 2 and 4).
  • Questions put to the AI Advisor are additionally sent to OpenAI's embeddings API so the relevant statutory provisions can be retrieved (section 2, and the Privacy Policy).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrustChain ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. TrustChain is operated by Kirillskiy Construction Ltd., a corporation incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (Business Number: 729657619BC0001, Corporation Number: BC1436965).

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TrustChain is a digital agreement registry platform that enables users to create, sign, hash, and cryptographically anchor agreements on public blockchain networks. The Service provides:

  • Digital agreement creation, signing, and storage
  • End-to-end encrypted negotiation chat
  • Cryptographic fingerprinting and on-chain proof anchoring
  • Identity verification (KYC) via Sumsub — required before any signature is accepted
  • AI-assisted agreement drafting and risk analysis
  • AI answers drawn from the text of indexed legislation, with a citation to the act, section and consolidation date. Indexed coverage is currently limited to the British Columbia Builders Lien Act; outside it the Advisor gives general orientation and says so
  • Subscription-based access tiers (Free, Pro, Elite)

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use TrustChain only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service for fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities
  • Submit false or misleading identity information during KYC
  • Attempt to circumvent, hack, or disrupt the platform's security
  • Use the AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
  • Create agreements involving illegal goods, services, or conduct
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of any party

5. Accounts and Identity

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and identity verification. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

Identity verification is required before you can sign an agreement. Both parties must complete KYC and reach verified status before a signature is accepted. This is not an interface preference and cannot be skipped: the check runs on our servers at the moment of signing, and a request from an account that has not reached verified status is refused regardless of how it is sent.

Verification is processed by our third-party provider, Sumsub. Until it completes you can still create agreements, negotiate terms, invite the other party and use the rest of the Service — only the act of signing is gated.

The reason is the product itself: a signature that cannot be attributed to a verified person proves very little, and the record TrustChain produces is only worth what the identity behind it is worth.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

TrustChain offers subscription plans (Free, Pro, Elite) and one-time purchases. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate until you cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law.

All prices are in USD. Kirillskiy Construction Ltd. reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The TrustChain platform, brand, and technology are owned by Kirillskiy Construction Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The TrustChain™ trademark and associated technology are patent pending.

You retain ownership of the agreement content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the platform.

8. On-Chain Records

When an agreement is anchored on a public blockchain, the cryptographic proof becomes a permanent, immutable public record. We cannot delete, modify, or reverse on-chain records. You understand and accept this before using blockchain anchoring features.

9. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access to TrustChain at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but off-chain data may be retained as required by legal obligations.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting founder@trustchain.biz.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kirillskiy Construction Ltd. and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use TrustChain.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

TrustChain does not guarantee the legal enforceability of any agreement created on the platform in any jurisdiction.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

TrustChain is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a platform notice. Continued use of TrustChain after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
